Made this tonight and my family loved it. I combined Italian panko with plain panko breadcrumbs and used Shitake mushrooms. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. The slurry worked perfectly. Definitely being added to our regular rotation. So happy to have found this site!

Mine also were very soft and disintegrated in the sauce. Ended up with mince meat in mushroom sauce, no meatballs and i followed the recipe to a t. It was my first fail of your recipes
